the Henry Hudson Parkway North: Exit 19 (232nd Street) turn left at top of ramp and then another left at first traffic light onto Henry Hudson Service Road. Proceed one block and turn right onto 231st Street. Go one block to the stop sign and turn left onto Independence Avenue. The Schervier Nursing Care Center is the second driveway on the right.
From
the Henry Hudson Parkway South: Exit 18 (Kappock Street). Go to stop sign and make a right onto Independence Avenue. Schervier Nursing Care Center is located on the left immediately after the park.
From
the Major Deegan Expressway (87) North or South: Exit at West 230th Street and turn left at traffic light at top of ramp if traveling north and right if traveling south. Proceed west on 230th Street (taking a left onto Broadway and then a quick right at the elevated subway to remain on 230th Street) and continue straight to last traffic light. Make a left onto Irwin Avenue, continue to top of hill and make a hairpin right turn onto Kappock Street. After the second traffic light, bear left under the overpass to Independence Avenue. Turn right onto Independence Avenue and the Schervier Nursing Care Center is 1 block down on the left.

Express Bus: M 1 & 2. The #1 leaves and returns to the east side of Manhattan and the #2 leaves and returns to the west side of Manhattan. Buses arrive and depart from the corner of 232nd Street and Henry Hudson Parkway. Walk across the bridge and turn left onto the Henry Hudson Service Road. Walk south one block and turn right onto 231st Street. Go one block and turn left onto Independence Avenue. The Schervier Nursing Care Center is one block down on the right.
Directions by Subway
Broadway 7th Avenue line (#1 or #9 train) to 231st Street. Take City Line #10 or #20 bus to 232nd Street and Henry Hudson Parkway. Follow same walking directions as above.
