Schervier Long Term Home Health Care Program Wins Award for its Pain Management System

 

Schervier Long Term Home Health Care Program is pleased to announce that the national homecare, hospice and private duty benchmarking firm, OCS Inc., has selected Schervier’s home care agency as the winner of a 2006 OCS Vision Award. The OCS Vision Awards honor and recognize the exceptional efforts of homecare, hospice and private duty providers across the country actively engaged in strategic initiatives to improve quality of care and organizational performance. Schervier Long Term Home Health Care Program was chosen as a winner for its new Pain Assessment, Reassessment and Management system for pain identification, improvement and stabilization. A team of managers developed and implemented the new pain assessment and management system using evidenced-based patient education, staff education programs and patient self management tools approved by IPRO: the quality improvement division of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
